Membership

Who can become a member?

The Swiss Interest Group Histamine-Intolerance (SIGHI) is not an association in legal terms. It is a community of purpose (partnership of convenience) with no particular legal form. Everybody can become a member: persons concerned, affiliated, healthcare professionals, companies, institutions and organisations. A valid email address is required. Memberships can be refused or terminated without stating a reason.

Benefit of a membership

Members profit by the following services:

• Access to the password protected member area
  Every member gets a personal username and password for read-only-access to download the password protected files on our server.
• Free newsletter
  Our newsletter keeps you informed about the most important news, events and findings about histamine intolerance. At the moment it is available in German only, but will be translated into English as soon as the demand will be big enough.
• DAOSINE is offered at a reduced price
  For our members in Switzerland only, DAOSIN is offered at a reduced price.
• Product compatibility database
  As a member, you get access to a list of compatible and incompatible products (food and others). The rating is made by our members.

Services not included: personal consulting and diagnosis

Cost

Membership fee is 30 CHF per calendar year, plus a unique setup fee of 10 CHF. (After end of june, new members have to pay only the half membership fee in their first year of membership: 15+10 CHF = 25 CHF.)

The amount can also be paid in Euros to our account in Germany. After registration, you will get a bill by email (amount in both currencies CHF and EUR).

There is no automatic renewal: At the end of the year, a payment request will be sent to our members. The membership wil be prolonged only if the fee is paid. Otherwise, membership ends automatically.

There are no special obligations for our members. Active members can ask for a free membership.
